Write sentences, not tag lists
Krea’s prompting guide uses long natural descriptions: subject, setting, camera or medium, light, texture. Seedream follows the same structure well.

Put text in quotes
Both models render words you put in quotes. Keep Krea 2 to a short title; give Seedream the long copy, small print and non-Latin scripts.

Name the medium early

The weights of Krea 2 RAW and Krea 2 Turbo are open on Hugging Face, and ComfyUI supports them natively. They come under the Krea 2 Community License rather than an open-source license. Krea 2 Large and Medium are not released and run only on Krea and partner APIs.

Can I use Krea 2 images commercially?

Krea does not claim the images you make. The Community License lets you use and run the model commercially for free, but a company with $1 million or more in yearly revenue (affiliates included) needs an enterprise license from Krea to keep running it commercially.

Is Krea 2 based on FLUX?

No. Krea trained Krea 2 from scratch; it uses a Qwen3-VL text encoder and the Qwen Image VAE. It is also a different model from FLUX.1 Krea, which Krea made with Black Forest Labs in 2025.
